We are launching a new Curb & Gutter service, and we’re hiring skilled and motivated crew members to join this exciting new opportunity. We’re looking for Concrete Finishers and Concrete Laborers to work alongside an experienced foreman in building this crew from the ground up.
About the Role:
You’ll be part of a crew focused on pouring, finishing, and installing curb and gutter systems for commercial, residential, and public infrastructure projects. Candidates will be evaluated based on their skills and experience and placed in either a Finisher or Laborer role.
Pay: Starting at $20.00-$25.00 per hour, depending on position and based on experience.
Hours: A typical workday is Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM, actual working hours and days may vary due to project deadlines - overtime may be required as needed.Benefits:

Position Details:
Concrete Finishers – Key Responsibilities:
Smooth and finish surfaces of poured concrete using hand and power tools
Set forms and ensure proper alignment, elevation, and slope
Apply curing and sealing compounds
Operate concrete saws and finishing machines as needed
Ensure work meets quality and safety standards
Concrete Laborers – Key Responsibilities:
Assist with site prep, setup, and cleanup
Place, spread, and level concrete
Move materials and equipment
Support the crew with formwork, rebar, and other tasks
Learn on the job and grow into a Finisher role over time
Qualifications (Both Roles):
Prior experience working on curb & gutter crews required – this is not an entry-level concrete role
Familiarity with curb machines (e.g., Power Curber, Gomaco) and/or hand forming techniques
Understanding of grade, slope, and elevation requirements for curb and gutter placement
Ability to read and follow site plans, string lines, and survey markings
Comfortable working outdoors in varying conditions
Physically capable of lifting heavy materials and working on your feet all day
Team player with a strong work ethic and attention to detail
Additional Qualifications for Finishers:
2+ years of experience, specifically in curb & gutter concrete finishing
Proficient in setting forms for curb and gutter with proper radius and alignment
Experience with finishing tight corners, transitions, ADA ramps, and other specialty work
Ability to identify and resolve issues with drainage flow or grading on-site
